Have they provided specifics or have they just said "Your name's the problem"?
One thought I had after reading your post was: Could the issue be rectified/circumvented if you redesigned your logo to include (for example) a colorful lollipop? The world has become a lot more about creative graphics since the days when your only choice was "newspaper or radio".
